Every year, around 10 lakh students participate in two-year Pre-university programmes after completing X standard.In the state, there are 1229 government-run pre-university colleges, 797 aided pre-university colleges, 3147 unaided pre-university colleges, 165 bifurcated pre-university colleges, and 13 corporation pre-university colleges. The Department of Primary and Secondary Education oversees our operations. The Government of Karnataka’s Department of Pre-University is in charge of implementing higher secondary education in the state.
